Devoted father of Terry Spencer and her husband Frank, Lawrence Thomas, Gregory Thomas, Shawn Hunter, Tisa Hunter, and Towana Powell. Dear brother of Carl Thomas, Lonnie Thomas and Shirley Thomas. Loving grand father of 14 and great grand father of 6;  God father of Letisha Wyatt; and also survived by many loving nieces & nephews. Prior to retirement in 2005, Lawrence was employed at K & Z Pickles in Camden as a truck driver for over 40 years. He was also  a member of the Elk Lodge in Camden. Lawrence loved to ride roller coasters at the amusement parks, dancing, and playing cards. Relatives & Friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Friday from 9 to 11 AM at the Falco Caruso & Leonard Funeral Home 6600 N. Browning Road in Pennsauken.  A service will begin at 11 AM. At the request of the family, final disposition will be private.
