Valente, Jr., age 75 of Pennsauken, New Jersey, passed away at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey on  May 11, 2013. Beloved husband of Alice L. (nee Dougherty); Devoted father of Alice Marie (Daniel) Myers, Matthew III (Lynne), and the late Sean Patrick (Kerri) Valente; Loving grandfather of Alycia, Madison, Matthew,  Alyssa,  Xander, Taylor, Lilyana and Ava; Dear brother of Richard (Maria) Valente and Lisa (Ron) Cocco. Mr. Valente was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and a retired CPA.  He was a United States Army Veteran, serving in missile defense during the Cuban Missile Crisis.  He was a member of the American Legion, Sons of Italy, and was a proud Tennessee Squire. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at the Church of St. Peter, 43 West Maple Avenue in Merchantville.  Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Arneytown.
