Survived by his devoted children Lydia Chandler (Michael) and Charles Welch (Caroline) and their mother Adella Welch. Beloved grandfather of Brandon, Lyla and Olivia. Loving brother of the late Judy Wallen. Dear uncle of Judy Wolfe (David), Bernadette DeSimone, Newt, Danny and Rodney Wallen. Also survived by companion Pat Graber, extended family members Rocky Grande (Madelene) , Jessica & Melanie, and the late Linda T. LaRusso, as well as many cousins of the McBrearty family. Prior to retirement, Buddy was a Juvenile Detective with the Pennsauken Police Dept where he was employed for 25 years. He was an active member of the FOP Garden State Lodge #3 and enjoyed coaching PYAA baseball. Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Visitation and Funeral on Thursday from 8-9:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM at the Church of St. Peter, 43 W. Maple Ave in Merchantville. Entombment of the cremated remains will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Buddy's name to Camden Catholic High School Athletic Association: 300 Cuthbert Road - Cherry Hill, NJ 08002.
