Obituary of Patricia McHugh

Patricia A. McHugh (nee Shipe), age 80 of Pennsauken, passed away on August 12, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Deacon Joseph P. for 61 years; Devoted mother of Kathleen McHugh, Maureen McHugh, Eileen (Bill) Weaver, and Thomas (Melissa); Loving grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 4; Dear sister of Donna (Howard) Walker and the late Charles Shipe and sister in law of Elizabeth Falzone; Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Mrs. McHugh was a devout Christian, and an aspiring poet and writer. She was also a Bereavement Counselor with Givnish Funeral Homes in NJ and PA, and the founding editor of All Around Pennsauken newspaper. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday from 7 to 9 PM and Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at the Church of St. Peter, 43 West Maple Avenue in Merchantville. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Moorestown. The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society c/o St. Peters Church, 43 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville, NJ 08109.
