Obituary of Lena Gentile

Lena F. Gentile (nee Farina), age 85 of Pennsauken passed away on October 12, 2015 at VITAS Hospice in Stratford. Beloved wife of Joseph J. Gentile for 64 years. Devoted mother of Joanne Gentile, Eileen Coyne (Joseph) and Rocco Gentile. Loving grandmother of Rachel Shultz (Alden), Joseph Coyne, Jr., Jenna Coyne, Alexandra Gentile and Kathleen Coyne. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Lena was an amazing cook, enjoyed going to the casinos and playing the slot machines. Lena's family says the mold was indeed broken with her and her wisdom, humor, tenderness and compassion, understanding, patience and love will never be forgotten. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday from 8:30-10 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Stephen, 6300 Browning Road in Pennsauken. Entombment will follow at New St. Mary's in Bellmawr.
