Obituary of Marie Altimore

Marie Altimore AGE: 91 • Deptford, formerly of Pennsauken Born Maria Del Sole in Camden on July 19, 1924, she lived for many years in Pennsauken before moving to Deptford in 1986. She enjoyed her job in the Pennsauken school district as it allowed her to be near children. But her family was her life. Together with her husband of 68 years, Joseph, she worked tirelessly for her children and her grandchildren (certainly a bit more gently with her grandchildren). She is survived by her husband Joseph; her children, Dr. Michael Altimore (Lisa Hennon), Sandra Zambetti (Joseph), Jo Ann Arena (Joseph), and Dr. David Altimore; her grandchildren, Michael Zambetti, Natalia Arena, Joseph Arena (Alexis) and Brett Zambetti; her brother in law Joseph Di Blasio; many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. She loved them all. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday from 10AM at the Parish of Mary, Queen of All Saints, Church of St. Cecilia, 4801 Camden Avenue in Pennsauken , where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM. Marie will rest in peace at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill, where she will join her parents Anthony and Josephine Del Sole, her brother and sister in law, Joey and Joanne Del Sole and her sister Eleanore Del Sole. The family requests memorial donations be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 150 E 9th Ave, Runnemede, NJ 08078.
