Obituary of Carmen Rotondo

Carmen Joseph Rotondo, passed away on October 24, 2015, formerly of South Philadelphia and Mt. Laurel. Age 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Mary R. (nee Arena). Devoted father of Joseph (Helen), Nicholas (Susan), Carmen and James (Janice). Loving grandfather of Peter, Anthony, Michael, Daniel, Nicholas, Jennifer and Kyle and great grandfather of 4. Prior to retirement, Mr. Rotondo was employed as a controller with Kuljian Corporation and Sterns Corporation for many years. He was a talented musician and played guitar in several bands over the years. He remained friends with some of his band members in his later years and they would still play together from time to time. Mr. Rotondo enjoyed playing pool and bocce ball, going to the casinos and traveling and going on cruises with his wife. He was very proud of his Italian heritage and was a devoted husband to Mary for 63 years, visiting her daily when she was in the nursing home for 4 years. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday from 9-10 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Stephen, 6300 Browning Rd. Pennsauken, NJ 08109. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial donations to St. Stephen's Church at the above address.
