Obituary of Evelyn Serrano

Evelyn Serrano passed away on December 1, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. A resident of Pennsauken for 21 years, formerly Philadelphia age 57 years. Beloved wife of Juan A. Devoted mother of Celina Paulino and her husband Manuel. Loving grandmother of Victor. Cherished daughter of Monserrate Rodriguez and Maria (nee Reyes). Dear sister of Jorge Rodriguez and his wife Elsie, Jose Rodriguez and the late Hilda Rodriguez. Caring aunt of Rachel, David, Danny, Priscilla, Joanna, Kristina, Javier, Tony, Diana, Melissa, Michael, Elizabeth and Hector. Also survived by brothers and sisters in law, Lucy, Gus, Antonio, Antonia, Johnny, Minerva and Miriam. Prior to retirement, Evelyn was employed at St. Christopher's Hospital in Philadelphia for over 28 years. After retirement in 2003 she became a full time pioneer with the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness and even after getting sick continued her work from home. Evelyn enjoyed making jewelry and shopping at flea markets but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and her brothers and sisters of her congregation. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday from 5:30-7 PM and Saturday from 9:30-10 AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 339 Bridgeboro Road in Moorestown, NJ 08057, where a Funeral Service will be held Friday evening at 7 PM and a final prayer service will be held Saturday morning at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA. Arrangements under the direction of the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Funeral Homes.
