Obituary of Dorothy Profico

Dorothy J. Profico (nee Paglione), age 90 of Audubon, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on December 22, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Joseph and daughter of the late Vincent and Lucia Paglione; Devoted mother of Barbara (Michael) Botcheos and Janice Elkin (Charles Miller); Loving grandmother of Denise and Brian Botcheos, Joseph (Rachel) and David Elkin and Nana to Deanna, Maria, Gianna and Dominic Elkin; Dear sister of the late Armond Paglione, Rose Hoover, Katherine Gallucci, Clara Mantini, Geneva "Jeff" Papale and Livia Hoffman. Dot was one of the first employees of PATCO. She was the secretary to the general manager from the 1960's up until her retirement in 1990. She then continued her secretarial work for a temp agency and then for a lawyer for an additional 10 years until her second retirement at 80 years old. Dot loved reading, crossword puzzles, chocolate and was an avid sports fan, but her passion was the casinos. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Monday from 9am at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11am. Interment will follow at New St. Mary's Cemetery in Bellmawr. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in her name to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053 or to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
