Michael,
So sorry to hear about the death of your brother. My brother, George, was in his high school class at St. Joe's. He just told me tonight that he heard about Dennis.Your family is in my prayers.
Believe it or not I am still in touch with a few of our classmates from Annunciation class of '66.

To the Family of Dennis Armento, I would like to extend my deepest sympathies for your loss. Dennis was a colleague of mine for over 20 years. For many years, his office was next to my classroom so we had daily chats. Dennis was one of the strongest, most determined men I have ever met. He came to work when dealing with his illness when others would have stayed home (and noone would have blamed him). Through all of his health issues, Dennis was always positive and kept that special sense of humor that only he had. I know you will miss him. May God help you during this time of grief.

I met Denny in 1968 when he would come home on the weekend to attend parties at Glassboro State College. Dennis would travel long distances to go to a good party. He would also go to great lengths to help someone in need. In all the years I knew him I never saw his lose his temper or his sense of humor. I hope his family will take comfort in the knowledge that he will be terribly missed by his friends and the countless people he helped.

What a tragic loss to humanity. I can think of no one in my lifetime who knew how to be a better friend than Dennis. He was a lending ear, loving friend ,a shoulder to cry on a concerned friend who always called to find out how your health was doing even though he wasn't feeling well. He loved all his friends and treated them like family,Dennis was a great one for getting the old gang together and had a great sense of humor, always had a smile on his face. Dennis really appreciate life and always counted his blessings, he always had something nice to say about everybody. I had went to him many times in the last 35 years when I was troubled about something and would stay on the phone with me as much time as I needed, that is a real fried for you. God Bless you my brother, I will never forget you. You really made this world a better place. Peace and Love Anthony Maressa

Dear Armento Family, I was so very sad to hear this. We went to SJHS and spent a lot of time with each other. One of the best things I remember was his hearty laugh! He certainly loved life! While we saw each other less over the years, I will never forget him. He attended some of our reunions and shared so many stories about his life. I will be there in spirit, on Friday, and praying for all his family. Thanks for the memories, Dennis~ YOU were one of the good guys!

To the Family of Dennis Armento..... I graduated with Dennis, Class of '67 from SJHS. Dennis was always an active, spirited individual who always had a smile and with his smile, infected many of his friends with the same humor and lust for life. Unfortunately, I was not aware of Dennis's battle for life, but I'm certain, he fought with all his might! Dennis had attended several of our Class Reunions but had not been present for the last 2. As the Class of '67 will approach its planning for our 50th Reunion, the Committee will honor and acknowledge his spirit at the event. May you have a PEACEFUL healing!
