Anyone who was privileged enough to have Pastor Foti as their pastor will undoubtedly have numerous fond memories of him (and his dear wife, Jean). One memory that stands out, as the church secretary for a time in Pittsfield, is of me searching the building for him to take a phone call, only to find him with his hands covered in grease attempting to get the old printer working in time to print the Sunday bulletin! What a dedicated, good and faithful servant he was. Many of us are thinking of you, his family, during this time of loss and praying for your hearts to be comforted as only the Comforter can bring you comfort. Pastor Foti was the most Christ-like man of God I’ve ever encountered. My earliest memories in the church revolve around him. The joy of the Lord beamed through his contagious, warm smile. We were blessed enough to spend time with him on our visits to New Jersey (from Australia) in the later years, and we will miss those cherished encounters on our future visits. He was truly a wonderful man and we’re all better people thanks to knowing him. Our deepest condolences to Sister Foti, and the whole family. God bless you all.
