Obituary of Anthony Foti

Reverend Anthony Foti, age 94 of Haddon Township, NJ, passed away at his home on May 11, 2022.

He is the beloved husband of 70 years of Jean (nee Castellani); devoted father of Dominic Paul Sr. (Luanne), Anthony Mark Sr. (Lisa), Anita C. Genca (Stephen), and Andrew James (Antoinette); Loving grandfather of Gina, Alanna, Dominic Jr., Adriana, Anthony Jr., Simeon, Mia, Dominique, Stivi, Micaela, Micah and Hugo; Cherished great grandfather of 19; dear brother of the late Joseph Foti, Victoria Mogavero, Katherine Perry and Francis Foti.

Born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY, Reverend Foti served as a minister for the Assemblies of God for a total of 45 years: 3 years in Buffalo,NY; 7 years in Shelton, CT; 6 years in Pittsfield, MA, and 29 years as a missionary in Australia.

He is fondly remembered for his quiet and caring spirit, always having a kind word and generous response to any one in need. 

His love for God & family, easy smile and demeanor made him welcomed by all. Known for his sense of humor, quick wit and even disposition, he naturally fit into any type of gathering as a welcomed guest.

He was an avid bocce player and loved fishing; enjoyed being creative with his hands with sheet metal, woodworking, gardening, and playing guitar and trombone.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday from 9:30 to 11 AM at Kingsway Assembly of God Church, 2701 Chapel Ave in Cherry Hill, NJ 08002 where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Entombment will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill.
