We lived far away from Aunt Jean and our cousins growing up, and family visits were few and far between. Because of Aunt Jean, I remember those visits with great fondness. What I remember is she always seemed to be smiling. I remember a warm person who always made me feel so welcome. I remember the sound of her laughter and how happy she seemed. Those are wonderful memories from my childhood that I cherish today.
