Obituary of Jean S. Draper

Jean S. Draper (nee Sutherland) age 95 years of Pennsauken, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2022 at Wiley Mission Home for the Aged in Marlton.
 
Beloved wife of the late Robert.  Devoted mother of Robert Draper (the late Jane), Nancy Higgins (Gene), Linda McMichael (Dave), Donald Draper and David Draper (Naomi).  Loving grandmother of 16 and great grandmother of 27.  Dear sister of Donald Sutherland and the late Hugh, Robert, Alfred, Marjorie and Jessie.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
 
Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Thomas and Gladys Sutherland.  Jean became a widow in 1976 at a young age.  She became a single mother raising 5 children, but was strong and always kept it all together.
 
Jean was a lifelong active member of The Gospel Hall in Pennsauken.  She volunteered at Longport Gospel Hall Home for the Aged in many aspects.  Jean enjoyed sewing, making quilts and needle point.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 9-10:30 AM at The Gospel Hall, 6530 Caroline Ave in Pennsauken, where a Funeral Service will be held 10:30 AM.  Interment will follow at Bethel Memorial Park in Pennsauken

The funeral services will be LIVESTREAMED Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 10:30-11:30 AM on the Facebook and YouTube channel for "Pennsauken Gospel Hall" and website www.pennsaukengh.com
