Obituary of Floripe Pinto

Floripe Pinto, age 84 of Camden, New Jersey, passed away on September 19, 2024 at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Cener in Camden.  She was born in Maunabo, Puerto Rico on April 29, 1940 to the late Andres Pinto and Matea (nee Collazo).

She is the beloved wife of 57 years to Eugenio Cruz; devoted mother of Heriberto Figueroa, Luis Rodriguez, Evelyn Rodriguez, Margarita Rodriguez, Antonio Rodriguez, Joann Cruz-Ruiz and the late Carlos Rodriguez; cherished grandmother of Enidia Figueroa, Carlos Rodriguez Jr., Victor Rodriguez, Roselyn Andino, Angie Rodriguez, Vanessa Lugo, Zulma Rodriguez, Tony Rodriguez, Luis Lugo, Amy Rodriguez, Carlos Ruiz Jr., Samari Ruiz, Cheyla Ruiz, Jo-mari Ruiz and Elianna Ruiz, great grandmother of 17 and great great grandmother of 4; dear sister of Carmen and Marta Pinto.

Floripe loved tending to her garden and plants and also enjoyed playing Bingo, cooking and spending time with her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday, September 25 from 9 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00.  Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken.
