Beloved husband of Harriet (nee VanWinkle); Devoted father of Richard Jr. (Carol), Colleen (Guido) Babore, Maureen (Hans) Phillips-Houser, and Doreen (Allan) Wright; Loving grandfather of Christy, Devon, Jake, Isabel, Madison, Simon, Gabriella, Abaigeal, Brett, Reagan and the late Ricky; Dear brother of John, Rosemary Montemurno, Patricia Pica, Thomas and the late Robert and Kevin. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Phillips was employed at Lockheed Martin for over 20 years. He was a United States Navy Veteran serving two tours in Vietnam and retiring after 20 years of service as a Senior Master Chief and recipient of two Bronze Stars with Valor. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM and Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at the Church of St. Peter, 43 West Maple Avenue in Merchantville. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Arneytown. The family requests memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Ricky Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund, 31 West Holly Avenue, Oaklyn, NJ 08107.
